UNIT 2: COLORS AND SHAPES
Period: 38 Let’s learn – Practice the words
Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students will know some more vocabularies about the colors.
Preparations:
Teacher’s: book, pictures
Students’: book, notebook
Procedure:
Teacher’s activities
Students’ activities
Warm-up:
Asks students to sing the Hi, how are you song.
Check up
New lesson: teacher introduces the new lesson.
Vocabularies:
-Teacher shows students some pictures of colors, and asks students what color it is.
- After students tell out the colors
teacher speaks in English.
+ yellow: màu vàng
+ blue: màu xanh
+ red: màu đỏ
+ green: màu xanh lá cây
+ purple: màu tím
+ orange: màu cam
+ brown: màu nâu
+ pink: màu hồng
+ black: màu đen
+ white: màu trắng
+ gray: màu xám
-Teacher reads the vocabularies and asks students to repeat in chorus, individuals.
- Calls some students to read the vocabularies.
Practice:
-Has students to close the book and look at pictures from the teacher and tell out what color it is.
Consolidations:
-Has students to play slap the board game
- Teacher gives the game rules.
- Sticks some pictures on the board.
- Give the feedback and decide the winner.
Homework:
Learn by heart the vocabularies
-Whole class sings the song
Look at the pictures and guess
Listen and write:
